Description:

Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PostgreSQL developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions using PostgreSQL. You will work closely with engineers and other developers to ensure our applications interact efficiently with the database. Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement complex database solutions using PostgreSQL.- Possess a deep understanding of PostgreSQL concepts, including data types, functions, triggers, stored procedures, and indexes.- Extensive hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL in a development environment.- Currently working on a development project that utilizes PostgreSQL (experience demonstrable through portfolio or references).- In-depth knowledge of all PostgreSQL objects, including tables, views, sequences, functions, and triggers.- Strong experience in SQL development, including writing efficient queries, joins, and data manipulation statements.- Proven ability to identify and resolve PostgreSQL performance bottlenecks and optimize queries.- Collaborate with engineers and other developers to design database schemas that support application requirements.- Develop and maintain unit tests for database code to ensure quality and functionality.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in PostgreSQL development.- Maintain clear and concise documentation of database design and functionality. Qualifications :- 6-8 years of experience as a PostgreSQL developer.- Strong understanding of relational database theory and principles.- Experience working with various data modeling techniques.- Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.- Experience with version control systems like Git.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A passion for database design and optimization (ref:hirist.tech)
