Description:
Job Responsibilities :- Build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP via IAC.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders Product, other SRE and support teams, to rollout new features.- Manage lifecycle of GKE addons Anthos Service Mesh, security tools, instrumentation, observability.- Implementing best practices, to meet internal SLA/SLO's of the platform.- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with GKE for application deployment.- Implement security measures and best practices for GKE platform.- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for GKE platform.- Respond to alerts and incidents, making necessary improvements.- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform development, configurations and best practices. Technical Skills :- Google Cloud Platform core services.- Kubernetes Platform Development and administration ( 7 + years in Kubernetes ).- Containerization technologies Docker.- Cloud native architecture and microservices.- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.- Scripting and automation skills Python & Shell.- Infrastructure as a Code - Terraform. Soft skills :- Excellent Communication and collaboration skills.- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.- Active listening.- Adaptability to new technologies.- Self-Motivation.- Positive Attitude.- Teamwork. Nice to have :- Relevant Certifications in Kubernetes can be a plus.- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
