Job Description :We are hiring Tableau Admin for the leaders in analytics and cloud applications, headquartered in San Francisco and with offices in India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune).Our client provides strategic guidance and technology systems for clients wishing to solve their most complex and interesting business challenges involving cloud applications, big data, business intelligence, and data discovery. They work with both corporate technology departments and corporate business units to develop value-added decision support solutions, not just new technology deployments.Installation and Configuration : - Deploy and set up Tableau Server or Tableau Online, including installation, configuration, and integration with other systems or databases. Maintenance and upgrades : - Perform regular maintenance tasks, manage software upgrades and patches, and monitor system health to ensure optimal performance. User Management : - Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies. Troubleshooting and support : - Address technical issues, diagnose problems, and provide timely support to users encountering Tableau-related issues. Performance Optimization : - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Backup and Recovery : - Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to safeguard Tableau environments and data. Documentation and Training : - Create documentation, guidelines, and training materials for users, promoting best practices and efficient use of Tableau tools. Collaboration : - Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and support Tableau projects.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Tableau administrator or in a similar role. - Proficiency in Tableau Server or Tableau Online administration.- Strong knowledge of database management systems, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. - Familiarity with security protocols, access controls, and data governance principles. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate. Tableau certifications (optional).Preferred Skills : - Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation tasks. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and their integration with Tableau. - Understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques (ref:hirist.tech)
