Description:
Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for Bluetooth-enabled products.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.- Implement Bluetooth profiles and protocols, including A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, etc., to meet product functionality and performance goals.- Perform Bluetooth stack integration and customization for specific hardware platforms.- Develop and execute test plans for Bluetooth functionality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.- Utilize Python programming for test automation and validation of Bluetooth features.- Work closely with the Android framework to integrate Bluetooth functionality into Android-based products.- Analyze Bluetooth/Wi-Fi protocol traces using tools like Wireshark and Ellysis to debug issues and optimize performance.- Collaborate with hardware engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Bluetooth connectivity and interoperability.- Stay updated on the latest Bluetooth specifications, standards, and technologies to incorporate into product development.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical presentations to ensure high-quality deliverables. Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).- 5-8 years of experience in embedded programming and product development, with a focus on Bluetooth technology.- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.- Hands-on experience with Python programming for test automation and validation.- Knowledge of Android framework and experience integrating Bluetooth functionality into Android applications.- Deep understanding of Bluetooth profiles and protocols, including A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, etc.- Experience with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark and Ellysis.- Familiarity with Bluetooth certification processes and tools like PTS (Profile Tuning Suite).- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in embedded systems.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on schedule.- Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and prioritize tasks effectively.
