Job Description:As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning algorithms and models with a focus on computer vision and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) applications. You will implement and fine-tune OCR systems to extract meaningful information from documents (PDFs) and images (CAD drawings), utilizing techniques and frameworks such as OpenCV and Hugging Face Transformers. Additionally, you will apply your expertise in artificial intelligence to design and optimize algorithms for specific use cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, and stay updated on the latest developments in AI/ML technologies.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms and models, with a focus on computer vision and OCR applications.- Implement and fine-tune Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems to extract meaningful information from documents (PDFs) and images (CAD drawings).- Utilize techniques and frameworks such as OpenCV and Hugging Face Transformers to implement computer vision and large language models.- Apply knowledge of Generative AI, especially Vision Transformers models, and their application for computer vision tasks.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML technologies and incorporate best practices into projects.- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing machine learning models for performance improvements.Qualifications:Required Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development.- Proficiency in Python programming language.- Experience in OpenCV, Keras/PyTorch/Tensorflow Deep Learning/Machine Learning, Computer Vision, OCR, Vision Transformers, API.- Strong background in machine learning algorithms and frameworks.- Experience in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) implementation.- Experience deploying models into production environments.- Experience working with large and complex datasets.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
