JD:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology- Knowledge of Backup & Recorver best practices and software- 3+ years administration experience with server OS (Windows, Redhat, VMware, or UNIX)- Scripting experience (Powershell or Python)- 1+ years Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.)- Knowledge of networking protocols, SAN/Storage- Problem Solving skillsA Day In The Life Could Include :- Provide ticket escalation support for operational issues- Interface with customers to assist in resolving customer issues- Automate and stream line current and future tasks- Identify and resolve incorrect server configurations- Administer patching per customer schedule (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual)- Provide support as part of the operational queue rotation- Design and Implement solution for customers- Participate in scrum activities- Monitor and forecast compute/storage demand- Contribute to disaster recovery testing- Keep current on technologies and trends- Provide on call coverage over weekend (ref:hirist.tech)
