Description:
Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain all aspects of the SAP Basis environment, including system configuration, performance optimization, security, user administration, and backups.- Analyze system logs and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal system uptime and performance.- Implement SAP upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.- Architect and implement innovative solutions on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop effective SAP solutions.- Manage and prioritize Basis team workload, ensuring timely resolution of critical incidents.- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other IT teams on SAP related matters.- Document procedures and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistency.- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP Basis technologies and best practices.Technical Skills:- 10+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator- Proven experience in all core SAP Basis functions (configuration, user management, security, backups, etc.)- In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and administration- Experience with various SAP Basis tools (Solution Manager, ST02, SM59, RZ10, etc.)- Experience with SAP HANA administration (a plus)- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure (a plus)- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation (a plus)- Experience with DevOps principles and tools (a plus)Additional Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment- Experience managing and prioritizing workloads- Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations (ref:hirist.tech)
