Description:

Role & Responsibilities :- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in delivering Mainframe solutions.- Analyse the existing Mainframe code written in COBOL, JClL, DB2- Document the orchestration and dependencies between programs.- Create source to target mappings with business transformation logic for every COBOL program which will enable the project team to migrate the mainframe program to cloud native solutions- Provide a walkthrough of every program along with source to target mapping to the project teamPrimary Skills/Must have :- Must demonstrate strong technical and business leadership skills - Strong Cobol, JCL, DB2, CICS experience- Experience in analysing and developing mainframe programs- Experience in MQ and DB2-stored procedure- Experience creating/consuming data in relational database environments (preferably DB2, SQL)- Proficiency in utilities such as SORT, Compare, IDCAMS and IEB utilities- Detail oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with high degree of accuracy- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents- Good time management skills : - Ability to prioritize and multitask, handling multiple efforts at once Strong written and oral communications skills are a mustSecondary Skills/Desired skills :- Experience in REXX and Easytrieve.- Exposure to tools such as Changeman.- Know how of Native stored procedures- Good to have experience in CICS web services.- Have experience in a retail domain (ref:hirist.tech)
