Description:
Responsibilities :Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications.Create software architecture models to guide development teams.Set and enforce coding standards to ensure quality and maintainability of code.Review design proposals and provide constructive feedback to ensure alignment with architectural vision.Design and implement Security and Data Protection strategies.Make strategic decisions that impact the overall direction of software projects.Play a crucial role in problem-solving, risk assessment, and system integration.Influence department leaders with innovative solutions to address a wide range of issues.Provide guidance and mentorship to lower-level professionals.Requirements :13+ years of experience in software development, with at least 10+ years in a software architect role.Strong Knowledge and Proficiency with hands-on experience in designing and implementing Microservices using programming languages such as Java, Python, and NoSQL MongoDB.Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.Strong understanding of accessibility and security compliance.Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns for scalable applications, optimizing the output to support multiple delivery platforms such as Mobile vs Desktop.Proven experience in problem-solving, risk assessment, and system integration.Innovative, able to reach and be collaborative with other members and functional teams.Open-minded and flexible to live the Sequoia Values day in and day out.Preferred Qualifications :Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Certification in software architecture from a recognized institution.Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
