Roles and Responsibilities :- Installation and configuration of MySQL on Linux/Windows and PAAS Environments.- Installing and Managing MySQL Clusters on MySQL flexible servers.- Experience in patching, upgradations, and migrations.- Upgrading from MySQL 5.X to latest versions- Good knowledge in UNIX and shell scripting.- Able to handle all MySQL DBA related daily maintenance tasks.- Troubleshooting and resolving database issues.- Monitor the systems health and performance.- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of databases.- Implement and maintain database security (user management, role management)- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.- Database Backup & recovery strategies- Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM.- Good hands-on MySQL with Replication exposure and HADR experience.- Provide suggestions for solutions.- Lead the set-up, testing, and deployment of new databases, migrations, and upgrades.- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.- Continuously evaluate emerging MySQL Server technologies and recommend best practices for database management.- Installation and configuration in Postgres and MongoDB- Good knowledge in Postgres and MongoDB.
