Responsibilities :Provide technical leadership to a team of 5+ engineers in an agile environmentWork with Technical architect to design & develop the technology platform and its various sub-systemsWork effectively with cross functional teams including product management to translate requirements to code, with test teams to troubleshoot, isolate issues and provide root cause, ensuring that the software developed is of the highest qualityMaintain ownership of key technical & functional components of the product/platformEngage with Clients to Identify & understand functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into traceable architectural & design elements.Develop re-usable frameworks/components and Proof-of-Concepts required to accelerate development processEnforce best development practices and ensure highest quality designsParticipate in architecture and design reviewsConduct code reviews, coverage & resolve bottlenecksOwn the technical documentation of high-level & low-level designsBe responsible for directing, counseling and mentoring team members on technology developmentEnsure highest quality deliverables while adopting agile development practicesBe customer focused and have the ability to manage & resolve complex technical issuesPerformance tuning & optimizationTechnical skills :Must have 3+ years experience solely in a lead role, leading small teamsExperience in full stack developmentSolid experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework Core, LinQExperience in microservices based application development is a mustHands-on experience building scalable web applications, in particular high frequency and low latency web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability as a key focusVery Strong Object-oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) skillsGood knowledge of agile software development, Domain Driven Design, Test-Driven development, Continuous Integration (DDD, TDD, CI)Experience in sprint planning using JIRA or any equivalent toolStrong knowledge and application of Design patterns, data structures and algorithms conceptsSolid experience in design and development of RESTful Web ServicesHands on programming & debugging skills in dev, staging and production environmentsExperience with designing both relational (SQL Server/PostGres/MySQL) and non-relational databases and optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability and the ability to design and optimize queriesExperience with Styling and Responsive Design techniques using technologies such as HTML5, Bootstrap, LESS, and SASS.Experienced in AWS cloud stack- EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache etcExperience in versioning systems like Git, SVN etcWell versed in 3rd party integrations using SDKs or ReST APIsExperience with Profiling and Performance Tuning code and applications (ref:hirist.tech)
