Software Engineer - ScalaRole and Responsibilities:- Scala Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions using the Scala programming language.- Backend Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement backend systems and APIs that meet business requirements.- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability, utilizing both SQL and NoSQL databases as needed.- Microservices Architecture: Architect and develop microservices-based solutions using Scala and related technologies, ensuring modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance.- Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of software components.- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for software components, APIs, and development processes.Skills- Scala, Play Framework, MongoDB, Spark (ref:hirist.tech)
