About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in developing and maintaining critical applications used within the Financial Crimes Compliance (FCCM) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) space. You will leverage your expertise in Java, JSP Servlets, and PL/SQL to design, develop, and implement robust solutions that meet the specific needs of our banking clients.Responsibilities:- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for assigned projects.- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, JSP Servlets, and PL/SQL.- Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Develop and implement secure and efficient database solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.- Conduct unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure code quality.- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, JSP Servlets, PL/SQL, and relevant banking domain technologies.Requirements:- 6-10 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java, JSP Servlets, and PL/SQL.- Proven experience in developing web applications for the financial industry (FCCM or AML experience is a must).- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database concepts and expertise in writing efficient PL/SQL code.- Solid understanding of SQL queries and stored procedures.- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.- Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN) is mandatory.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits (Nice to Haves):- Experience with DevOps tools and build/release processes.- Experience working with large data sets.- Knowledge of rule engines used in the FCCM/AML space.
