EXPERIENCE : 4+ yearsWe are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a robust background in Computer Vision, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Legal Language Modeling (LLM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing cutting-edge solutions that leverage machine learning techniques to address complex challenges in the legal domain.RESPONSIBILITIES :- Lead a team of junior machine learning engineers specializing in OCR and NLP, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.- Gathering information from various data sources, preprocessing, and deriving insights from data using open-source programming.- Performing exploratory data analysis, preprocessing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data.- Developing machine learning and deep learning models and fine-tuning them to meet business expectations.- Integrating and deploying ML models into production-level code.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning components into our products and services.- Staying updated on the latest advancements in machine learning, computer vision, OCR, and NLP, and applying them to solve real-world problems in the legal domain.- Mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance and support as needed.PRIMARY SKILLS :- Proven track record of 4+ years of experience in machine learning, focusing on computer vision, OCR, and NLP.- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.- In-depth understanding of deep learning architectures and techniques, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), and transformers.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing frameworks.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex technicalconcepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.SECONDARY SKILLS :- Familiarity with OCR libraries and tools such as Tesseract, OpenCV, or similar.- Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).- Publications in top-tier conferences or journals related to machine learning, computer vision, or NLP.CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED (IF ANY) : Any domain, technology certification is an added advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
