Job description :As a Backend Developer the candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend architecture of our software applicationsYou will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet our clients needsJob Responsibilities :- Backend Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient backend solutions to support the overall functionality of our software applications.- Database Management : Create and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.- Implement data storage solutions that align with the applications requirements.- API Development : Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend components of our applications.- Ensure seamless integration with third-party services when necessary.- Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend infrastructure.- Conduct regular system analysis to enhance application speed and efficiency.- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the overall success of the development projects.- Code Review : Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and best practices.- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.- Security : Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.- Proven experience with Node.js and relevant frameworks (Express, Nest.js, etc.).Required Technical and Professional Expertise :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.- Proficient in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.- Strong database management skills (MongoDB) and experience with database design and optimization.- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL API development and integration.- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Experience and working knowledge of version Control systems like Github and build tools like Maven/Gradle.- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.- Strong sense of ownership of deliverables.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise :- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).- Familiarity with Monolithic and Microservices architecture.- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.- Degree in Computer Science, , Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.- Experience with DevOps, Agile, and Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices.- Experience working with open-source technologies.
