Job Description :Client is investigating options for replacing its current ITSM tool. Currently, a small project team is conducting the investigation phase and has narrowed the list down. The project team aims to conclude the selection process soon by the end of May. In May, the project will transition from the investigation phase to implementation, requiring a new Project Manager (PM) to lead the implementation project and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.Client outsources application support, service desk and infrastructure. An implementation partner will be responsible for setting up the environment and providing initial training.About Role : The Senior PM must be adept at managing multiple vendors executing different aspects of the project and may collaborate with the implementation partner PM to ensure Client's interests are prioritized. This will be a global rollout.We seek a Senior PM with the usual qualifications, plus :- Global Implementation Experience- Familiarity with Agile Project methodology- Knowledge of ITSM tools and/or familiarity with ITIL- Experience in managing vendors and contractorsThe Senior PM will work remotely from India for 50% of their time, overlapping with the US time zone. They will receive training on Client project management tools like Planview and PLI for project documentation, financials, and status reporting. Additionally, they will be trained on Client PM best practices, including purchase order creation, governance, communication frequency, escalations, etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
