Description:
Responsibilities :- Design , Build and implement complex, large-scale applications capable of integrating with multiple internal/external systems - Engage in and lead development efforts across the full SDLC from design and coding through to test, build, QA, deployment, and maintenance - Leverage your experience with cloud infrastructure to build cloud-based software solutions and support the migration of applications to the cloud - Mentor a team of software developers to build quality software solutions aligned to architecture guidelines - Strategize and support the migration of applications to server-less architecture solutions - Build applications capable of processing large sets of data using Spring Batch Framework with logging capabilities via the ELK stack - Partner with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into consumable technical stories and software solutions Functional Competencies :- Able to provide technical excellence while embracing flexibility over building "bulletproof" systems- Passionate learner who keeps up with evolving technologies and is willing to experiment to test what would work for the business- Experience in or willingness to learn Agile methodology and working in a cross functional teamTechnical Competencies :- Hands-on, full-stack development experience building end-to-end software applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack: C#, .Net Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, XML, XSLT, Entity Framework, LINQ, Microservices, Single Page Applications in Angular, TFS, GIT, and AppDynamics - Insurance background required experience in implementing Commercial Lines platform/systems integration with Duck Creek, Insurity or similar policy admin systems is preferred - Deep understanding of SQL Server and Cosmos DB, including database design models, database performance optimization and the ability to develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions in SQL Server - Demonstrated experience developing REST based APIs using Microservice architecture, Open API Specification and/or creating specifications w/Swagger - Knowledge of messaging queue tools such as MQ and Kafka - Experience in containerizing applications using Docker & Kubernetes - Previous experience with cloud solutions (Azure preferred) along with experience configuring DevOps/continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins and/or Maven (ref:hirist.tech)
