Profile : DevOps and Data EngineerJob description : This role is a Hybrid DevOps and Data Engineering.Mode : WFO/WFHRoles & responsibilities : - Setting up tools and required infrastructure- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible- Identifying and deploying cyber security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management- Incidence management and root cause analysis- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers- Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)- Mentoring and guiding the team members- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer- Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time.- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.- Co-ordinate with multiple teams ensuring smooth progress in the deployment- Support Tech team continuous integration build environment and automated package migration processes- Ensuring the security and compliance of the DevOps infrastructure and implementing best practices for security and compliance.- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the DevOps infrastructure and software- Assist in the maintenance and administration of build/release systems.- Design, document, implement, and maintain scripts to enhance current build/release processes- Experience in Linux and Shell scripting, preferably PowerShell.- Good experience working on agile methodologyQualifications and Requirements :- Completed Bachelors degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible- 1+ years of relevant engineering experience- Azure certification is preferred.- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Key Vault and Storage Accounts.- Experience working with a Data Engineering team and understanding of Data Engineering practices.- Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space- Experience with bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, etc.- Experienced in managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances.- Experience with CI/CD principles and best practices including Azure DevOps and Repos.- Experience with ARM Templates, Terraform.
