Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled SIL Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing within the Electric Vehicle (EV) domain, coupled with expertise in Python scripting, CAPL scripting, and proficiency in C language. As a SIL Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive software solutions through rigorous testing methodologies.Key Responsibilities :SIL Testing : Conduct thorough testing of automotive software systems using SIL testing methodologies to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.Scripting Expertise : Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and CAPL scripting languages to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.Domain Knowledge : Utilize your expertise in the EV domain to effectively analyze system requirements, identify potential issues, and propose solutions for optimal performance.Collaborative Development : Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, system architects, and quality assurance engineers to ensure seamless integration and testing of software components.Test Plan Development : Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements and industry standards to ensure maximum test coverage.Debugging and Troubleshooting : Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot software defects to ensure timely resolution and maintain product quality.Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BTECH/BE) or related field.Minimum 2.5 years of experience in SIL testing within the automotive domain.Proficiency in Python scripting and CAPL scripting languages.Strong programming skills in C language.Excellent understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) systems and components.Familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.Additional Requirements :Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Experience Range : 2.5 years - 12 years (ref:hirist.tech)
