Responsibilities :Design and Implement Infrastructure :- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Web Services).- Configure and maintain virtual servers, networks, and storage.- Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) :- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.- Automate build, test, and deployment processes.- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures.Configuration Management :- Manage server configurations using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.- Ensure consistency across environments.- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.Monitoring and Logging :- Set up monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).- Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and application health.- Implement centralized logging (e.g., ELK stack, Splunk).Security and Compliance :- Implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications.- Perform vulnerability assessments and address security issues.- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Scripting and Automation :- Proficient in Python for scripting and automation tasks.- Write custom scripts to automate repetitive processes.Collaboration :- Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements.- Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and other stakeholders.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification preferred.- Strong experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
