About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software Validation Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our client's embedded systems. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong understanding of verification and validation processes, particularly for safety-critical applications in the aerospace domain.Responsibilities :- Perform comprehensive verification and validation activities throughout the entire software development lifecycle of embedded systems.- Experience in the aerospace industry with DO-178B/C certification processes is a plus.- Analyze system requirements, high-level requirements, and design documents to derive comprehensive test cases and procedures.- Execute unit tests, integration tests, and system-level tests to identify and resolve software defects.- Possess strong knowledge of communication protocols used in avionics systems (AFDX, CAN, A429, SPI, SCI, I2C).- Utilize tools like RTRT, LDRA, Vector CAST to automate testing processes.- Conduct System-level testing (SSI, HSIT) for avionics software.- Effectively debug software issues using tools like Trace32, Code Composer Studio, and CMM scripts.- Advocate for the use of static analysis tools and automation techniques for improved testing efficiency.Requirements :- 3 to 6 years of experience in embedded software validation and verification.- Proven experience with complete verification and validation of safety-critical embedded systems.- Prior experience in the aerospace domain with DO-178B/C processes is highly desirable.- Excellent analytical skills to translate requirements into testable scenarios.- Strong hands-on experience with software testing tools (RTRT, LDRA, Vector CAST).- Experience with avionics system-level testing (SSI, HSIT) is a plus.- Expertise in debugging embedded software using relevant tools (Trace32, Code Composer Studio, CMM scripts).- Understanding of static code analysis tools and automation principles.- Knowledge of communication protocols used in avionics systems (AFDX, CAN, A429, SPI, SCI, I2C).
