Job Description :We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, web-based applications, and API testing. The candidate should be detail-oriented, with a passion for quality and a drive to continuously improve processes.Responsibilities :Analyze and understand business requirements and functionality of web and Android-based applications.Plan and execute software testing, primarily in integration test capacity.Conduct functional and non-functional testing, including regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.Work closely with the development team from design to implementation through deployment for projects.Write, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios.Create bug reports and testing summary reports.Perform database testing, including data conversion and migration.Coordinate effectively between the development team and support team.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.2 years and 8 months of experience in manual testing and web-based applications.Experience in API testing with the Postman tool.Knowledge of MySQL, and MongoDB for database testing.Expertise in Agile Methodology.Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).Experience with bug reporting/tracking tools such as JIRA.Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium is a plus.Excellent communication and decision-making skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
