Description:
Role : AWS DevOps Engineer Responsibility :- Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes, utilizing AWS services and third-party tools.- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity to streamline deployment and operation tasks, ensuring high availability and seamless rollout of updates.- Drive best practices in infrastructure security, compliance auditing, and perform regular security assessments, aligning with industry and AWS-specific security standards.- Optimize AWS cloud resources for cost-efficient operation, regularly reviewing performance metrics and implementing cost-saving measures.- Foster a DevOps culture within the organization, mentoring junior engineers and advocating for a collaborative, automated, and iterative approach to development and operations.- Spearhead the integration of complex systems, ensuring high interoperability between cloud services and on-premises legacy systems.- Lead by example, staying abreast of the latest AWS features and capabilities, and applying this knowledge to continually innovate the platform.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and product, to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.Skills Required :Essential Skills :- In-depth understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and others.- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.- Proven track record with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for creating automation scripts.- Experience in managing full-stack applications, including both front-end and back-end components.- Expertise in monitoring, logging, and management tools like Datadog AWS CloudWatch, and ELK stack.- Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.Desired Skills :- AWS certifications : AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional are preferred- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.- Ability to mentor team members, lead projects, and interface with stakeholders at all levelsOther Information :Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience : At least 10 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on AWS cloud servicesLocation : Anywhere in India (Preferred Kolkata / Mumbai) (ref:hirist.tech)
