Description:
Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect a highly scalable, reliable, and performant platform that supports mission-critical operations, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies.- Lead technical decision-making, ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely.- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools for improving system performance and reliability. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and product managers, to define technical requirements and specifications. - Develop and maintain architectural documentation and guidelines. - Implement best practices for scalability, security, and disaster recovery. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for the adoption of new technologies where appropriate. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role, with a track record of developing scalable, high-availability, observable systems. Strong knowledge of modern internet technologies, including but not limited to: - Backend development environments in node.js and/or python- Message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)- Caching servers (e.g., Redis) - Databases (SQL, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; NoSQL, such as MongoDB or Cassandra) - Web services and API development (REST) - Front End development frameworks (React, Angular) - Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Strong communication and leadership skills (ref:hirist.tech)
