Job Description :We are seeking a seasoned ETL Testing Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of overall testing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing test activities within medium to large projects and possess excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and business partners. Proficiency in ETL testing tools, techniques, and methodologies is essential for this role.Responsibilities :- Manage Test Activities : Lead and manage test activities in medium to large projects, ensuring timely and effective execution of testing processes.- Interpersonal Skills : Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, business partners, developers, and other team members.- ETL Testing Expertise : Utilize ETL testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to verify data sources, extract data, apply transformation logic, and upload data into target tables.- SQL/PL SQL : Possess strong SQL/PL SQL skills, including proficiency in writing complex queries, understanding join conditions, and working with stored procedures.- Review Requirements : Review user and functional requirements, providing feedback and insights to ensure comprehensive test coverage.- Test Script Development : Develop and maintain test scripts, ensuring traceability to requirements and adherence to test standards.- Test Execution : Participate in test execution activities, monitor progress, and proactively identify and address issues or risks.- Collaboration : Engage with all project stakeholders, including developers, business users, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and clarity of testing objectives and outcomes.- Formal Test Scripts : Write, review, and execute formal test scripts, including setup and data requirements, procedures, and expected results.- Input to Project Estimates and Documentation : Provide direct input to project estimates and documentation, including project plans, functional requirement specifications (FRS), and design documents.- Review Project Requirements : Review project requirements, plans, and prototypes, providing input and recommendations based on testing expertise and experience.- Agile/Scrum Experience : Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.- Clinical Domain Knowledge : Preferable familiarity with the clinical domain, including understanding of healthcare data and processes.Qualifications :- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 5 years of overall testing experience, with a focus on ETL testing.- Proficiency in ETL testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.- Strong SQL/PL SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Proven ability to manage test activities in medium to large projects.- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Familiarity with the clinical domain is preferable but not mandatory.
