Summary :Seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting our SAP landscape, with a focus on the upcoming S/4HANA migration project, ongoing system upgrades, and new system implementations.Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in the planning, execution, and post-go-live support of the S/4HANA migration project.- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to S/4HANA.- Manage and maintain the SAP Basis infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, databases (including HANA), and network configurations.- Perform system upgrades and implement new SAP systems according to best practices.- Configure and manage user accounts, security profiles, and authorization levels.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal system uptime and availability.- Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data archiving activities.- Analyze system logs and identify potential problems or security risks.- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP Basis functionality, HANA technology, and best practices.- Provide technical support to SAP users and collaborate with other IT teams.- Document technical configurations and procedures for future reference.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant- Proven experience with S/4HANA migration projects (highly desirable)- In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including user management, security, system configuration, and performance optimization- Experience with SAP HANA database administration (highly desirable)- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and other SAP Basis administration tools- Strong understanding of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and database management (e.g., DB2)- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality (ref:hirist.tech)
