Position Details: Job Title: Head of Testing Center of Excellence. Experience : 18 years of experience. Location: Bangalore/ Chennai. Position Overview: As the Head of Testing Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our testing practice, with a focus on delivering high-quality testing services to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, capable of setting up the practice from scratch and scaling it to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients. You will be instrumental in developing innovative testing solutions, building a high-performing team, and driving business growth by effectively selling our testing services to potential clients.Responsibilities:- Establish and lead the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE), setting the vision, strategy, and direction for the practice.- Develop and implement innovative testing solutions and methodologies to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients.- Build and lead a high-performing team of testing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.- Define and implement testing processes, standards, and best practices across the organization.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and ensure quality throughout the process.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency, effectiveness, and automation.- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to promote the value of testing and drive business growth.- Act as a thought leader in the testing domain, staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.- Lead the sales and marketing efforts for testing services, including identifying potential clients, preparing proposals, and closing deals.- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success and impact of the testing practice.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred.- 18-22 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of leadership and delivery in testing roles.- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with experience in setting up and scaling testing practices or organizations.- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including both manual and automated testing.- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.- Strategic thinker with the ability to align testing initiatives with business goals and objectives.- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.- Proven ability to drive business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments is a plus.- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
