We have managed Biologics, Branded Pharmaceuticals, Generics, APIs, Diagnostics, and Packaging & Delivery Systems portfolios.Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead QA / Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA / Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal quality, performance and scalability of our applications. You will be responsible for conducting load and volume testing, as well as identifying and mitigating bottlenecks that may impact application performance. Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, as well as experience with performance monitoring tools from AWS and Azure, will be essential for this role.Key Responsibilities : - Quality & Testing: Design and execute comprehensive automated test scenarios to assess the application's behavior under different load conditions, including stress, load, and volume testing.- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the performance requirements and create test plans that align with project objectives.- Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments, ensuring they accurately represent production-like scenarios to obtain realistic performance metrics.- Performance Metrics Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics during test execution using performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, as well as performance monitoring tools from AWS (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray) and Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights). - Identify any deviations from expected performance and conduct root cause analysis.- Bottleneck Identification: Utilize profiling and monitoring tools from AWS and Azure to identify performance bottlenecks, system resource constraints, and potential areas for optimization.- Performance Tuning & reporting: Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to suggest performance improvements and work towards their implementation.- Automation: Continuously enhance performance testing methodologies and implement automation using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, as well as AWS and Azure services to streamline testing processes.- Scalability Testing: Evaluate the application's ability to scale with increasing user loads and workloads.- QA Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA / testing and monitoring, particularly related to AWS and Azure, to ensure our applications meet or exceed performance standards.Necessary Skills :- Should be strong in Python, Scripting and Selenium.- Should be strong in SQL. - Should have worked on Azure or AWS environment. - Should be familiar with one or more DB technologies such as SQL server, Redshift, Postgres, Snowflake, DatabricksQualification :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Required Experience :- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a QA Test Engineer.- Proven experience as a QA / Test Lead or in a similar role, with a focus on load, stress, and volume testing.- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) to aid in performance scripting and automation is a plus.- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and databases to analyze application behavior.- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.- Experience with performance monitoring tools from AWS (e.g., Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray) and Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is preferred.- Certifications in performance testing tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and methodologies are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
