Role : Information Security Officer. Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Chennai. Work Type : Hybrid. Exp : 15 years experience in Information security. Information Security Officer. Job Description : As an Information Security Officer you'll be responsible for information security, making sure that Randstad standards are in place, reporting business risks, and aligning security initiatives with business objectives. You may work in a variety of sectors and specialize in a number of areas including :- Information security management.- Governance and compliance.- Data Security.- Stakeholder management.Managing of the security posture for Randstad India by being responsible for the following areas :1. Security.2. Revision of IT security policies.3. Revision of security measures implementation.4. Security compliance with global security standards.5. Manage local security projects to improve security posture.6. Incident management.7. Manage DLP.8. Audit.- Preparation for IT security Internal Audit (domestic, global).- Answering the questions by auditors.- Remediation plan making against indicators.- Monitoring the progress of remediation plans.- Compliance.- Implement global IS policy and review it as per local rules.- Provide training to all employees to continuously improve the compliance awareness.- Set up data security monitoring mechanism and perform compliance audit.- Ensure that your findings are recorded and followed up with management.- Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues.- Highlight or escalate areas of concern. Required Experience :- 15 years experience in Information security.- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field.- Managing a team.- Business-level English. Nice to have experience :- Managing an information security management system.- Experience in working with ITIL, ISO27001, or Cobit frameworks - IT security certification (eg. ISO27001, CISA, CISSP, CISM). Skills :- Technical acumen.- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Analytical skills and a good eye for detail.- Able to cope under pressure.- Planning and organization skills.- Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people.- Good communication and presentation skills.- Gble to effectively communicate with executives.- Commercial awareness.- Numerical skills and the ability to extract relevant information.- Able to understand broad business issues.- Able to mentor, coach, and grow security team members. What to expect :- Work is primarily office based.- Offsite training or conferences would be as required.- As an international company, there may be some overseas travel. (ref:hirist.tech)
