Job Description :- As a Database Engineer with 10-14 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing, administering, and supporting databases, with a focus on MongoDB, MariaDB, and Oracle DB.- You will leverage your expertise in database administration and support to ensure the efficient operation of production environments.- Additionally, you will play a key role in evaluating new frameworks, deploying database clusters, and optimizing database performance. Key Responsibilities : - Database Administration: Administer and support MongoDB, MariaDB, and Oracle DB databases in a production environment.- Perform database installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks. NoSQL Experience : - Possess hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, including evaluation of new frameworks, deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning of database clusters. SQL and NoSQL Landscape : - Solid understanding of the SQL and NoSQL landscape, including available frameworks, features, and best practices.- Ability to analyze and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries for improved performance. Linux and Network Maintenance : - Strong proficiency in Linux operating system administration and network maintenance.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary optimizations. Scripting Skills : - Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Perl, Python, and Shell, for automation and scripting tasks related to database administration. SQL Skills : - Strong SQL skills and experience in working with relational databases, including MariaDB, MySQL, and Oracle DB. Good-to-Have Skills : - Proficiency with Elastic and Redis databases is a big plus, although not mandatory. Qualifications : - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience.- Overall 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3+ years in database engineering, administration, and support.- Minimum of 3+ years of specific experience in MongoDB, MariaDB, and Oracle DB databases.- Experience in evaluating new frameworks, deploying database clusters, and optimizing database performance.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
