Description:
Responsibilities :- Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.- Define the overall QA strategy, setting clear goals, test plans, and quality standards for software development projects.- Implement and maintain a robust testing methodology (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.- Design, develop, and execute various test cases (functional, non-functional, regression) to identify and report software defects.- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and track bug resolution progress.- Champion continuous improvement initiatives for the QA processes and tools.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the QA team.- Document QA processes, test plans, and procedures for clear communication and future reference.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a minimum of 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role- Proven experience in leading and motivating a QA team- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and testing principles- Expertise in designing and executing various test cases (functional, non-functional, regression)- Experience with bug tracking and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects effectively, and meet deadlines- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software (ref:hirist.tech)
