Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java and GoLang Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, along with hands-on experience in GoLang and related technologies. This role will involve developing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications within a distributed microservices architecture.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Java and GoLang-based applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and reliability.- Utilize Spring Boot for service development, leveraging its features for building efficient and scalable microservices.- Work with Kafka for building event-driven architectures and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.- Design, implement, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and Cassandra, for data storage and retrieval.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement reactive programming solutions using frameworks like Vert.X or similar technologies.- Implement testing frameworks like Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and JMeter for performance testing to ensure application reliability and scalability.- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment, and leverage monitoring tools like Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.- Develop and manage microservices-based applications, focusing on high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.- Implement caching mechanisms to optimize application performance and improve user experience.- Work in Agile projects, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to deliver high-quality software incrementally.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously enhancing technical skills and knowledge.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure components, leveraging cloud computing technologies and DevOps concepts.- Collaborate with the team on code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.Ideal Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with good working knowledge of Java 8 and above (experience with Java 11 and Java 17 is a plus).- Minimum of 1 year of experience with GoLang language.- Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot for service development.- Experience with Kafka and its integrations.- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, and Cassandra.- Familiarity with reactive programming concepts and frameworks like Vert.X.- Experience with testing frameworks like Cucumber for BDD and JMeter for performance testing.- Basic knowledge and understanding of tools like Jenkins, Deployments, Splunk/Kibana/Grafana, GitHub.- Knowledge of microservice-based application development principles and practices.- Experience in developing and managing applications with high transactions per second and high availability.- Knowledge of caching mechanisms is a plus.- Experience working in Agile projects.- Technical certifications in relevant skill sets will be an added advantage.- Intermediate knowledge of infrastructure technologies and components, with familiarity with cloud computing.- Experience with event-driven/microservices architecture for high availability/distributed systems.- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT and code build tools like IntelliJ, Redhat JBoss, etc., including DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools.
