Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Citrix Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in the design, implementation, and optimization of our Citrix infrastructure within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Citrix technologies, NetScaler/ADC, Windows Server OS, scripting languages, and database management, along with a deep understanding of networking and security principles.Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert-level support for Citrix technologies, including XenApp/XenDesktop/Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), Web Interface/StoreFront, and Citrix App Layering, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance for end users.- Design, architect, deploy, and manage NetScaler/ADC infrastructure, including Gateway, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), Rewrite/Response Policies, Certificate Management, CLI configuration, and utilization and traffic analysis, to optimize application delivery and security.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Citrix and networking infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.- Configure and maintain Windows Server OS environments, both on-premises (VMware ESX) and in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS), including installation, configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting.- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline Citrix and infrastructure management tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.- Utilize advanced scripting skills to navigate, query, and extract information from database sources (e.g., SQL) and present it in visually appealing formats using tools like Tableau or Power BI, for performance monitoring and reporting purposes.- Conduct system-level debugging and troubleshooting for Windows 10 and Server 2012 and later, leveraging expert understanding of Windows internals and debugging tools to resolve complex issues.- Manage Windows Active Directory, Citrix, and Domain Group Policy configurations, as well as DHCP and DNS services, to ensure seamless integration and operation with Citrix infrastructure.- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Citrix, virtualization, networking, and security, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the organization's infrastructure.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.- 9+ years of experience supporting Citrix technologies, including XenApp/XenDesktop/Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Provisioning Services (PVS), Machine Creation Services (MCS), Web Interface/StoreFront, and Citrix App Layering, within a large enterprise environment.- 4+ years of experience managing NetScaler/ADC infrastructure, including design, architecture, deployment, and advanced configuration.- 8+ years of experience with Windows Server OS, VMware ESX, and Cloud-based hypervisor environments (Azure, AWS), as well as LAN/WAN/Firewall network technologies.- Expert proficiency in scripting languages, especially PowerShell and Python, for automation and infrastructure management tasks.- Extensive experience navigating, querying, and extracting information from database sources (e.g., SQL) and presenting it in visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.- Expert understanding of Windows internals and system-level debugging for Windows 10 and Server 2012 and later.- Advanced knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Citrix, Domain Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
