Description:

Job Description: CAD Engineer.- Architecting, developing, testing and maintaining of automation tools for VLSI CAD/EDA view creation and validation.- Understanding of specifications, interfaces requirements and developing checks with defined pass/fail criteria, configuring and running these checks on library/components /IPs.- Understanding the library database, configuring tool runs based on library database.- Build tasks for result analysis and debugging.Skills :- Automation and scripting using Python, Perl, tcl, shell, xml, yaml, SQL database, Apache webserver, HTML, PHP, dashboards (any 5 of these skills).- VLSI/EDA domain knowledge in any 2-3 areas of VLSI design flows and methods, std-cell/IO/Memory library characterization/validation/unit and integration testing, Analog simulation, Layout, DRC, LVS, Extraction, Timing and Power analysis.- EDA tools knowledge desirable: At least 3-4 areas in Virtuoso, Spectre/Spice, Siliconsmart/Liberate, Redhawk/Voltus, Innvous, ICC, Xcelium.- Debug and root cause analysis skills.- Good communication and team interaction.
