Software Quality Engineer III - Automation Testing (6-10 yrs)

This position will play a key role in developing and supporting capabilities needed for Visibility initiatives and enterprise functions. This critical development role will be responsible for delivering projects that will greatly enable and improve customer experience can lead to better NPS for FedEx and decreased customer calls.Requirements : Must have skills : RPA Testing, Automation Testing, and Selenium.Good to have skills : Protractor, and Functional Testing.- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.- Four (4) equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment.- A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.- Participate in Agile ceremonies and lead Agile QE teams in an enterprise environment.- Assign and oversee QE team's automation testing assignments and generate and project health reports as needed.- Develop automation test strategy & plans for UI, API, ETL, and API testing using leading automation tools.- Develop automation test strategy & plans for non-functional testing requirements Performance/Load testing using Jmeter and Accessibility testing using leading ADA tools.- Author Test Cases, Test Scenarios using Jira, qTest or any other similar tools such as Xray, Zephyr or HP ALM- Automate and execute test cases using model based test automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, EggPlant, ConfirmIQ and open source frameworks like Selenium using Java- Migrate automated test scripts from existing tool to Tricentis Tosca tool- Database knowledge : Database structures and writing SQL queries and tools like TOAD and ETL Testing Knowledge- Identify test requirements from specifications/Product.- Create clear, concise detail-oriented automation test plans/cases- Work closely with project team, understand the requirements and design, develop and execute test scenarios, test cases and automated test scripts.- Perform standalone and integration testing with internal IT applications and ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables- Identify application issues during testing and works with project team/internal IT staff and appropriate stakeholders to determine resolutions.- Creates test data with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test application logic and verify system flow standalone and integrated with other internal/external IT applications- Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies.- Train internal and external business analysts in the automation testing practices and help them to use the tool for designing test casesSkills :Must have :- Hands-on experience with web and mobile automation using Model based test automation tools; such as Eggplant, Tricentis Tosca, ConfirmIQ- Strong test automation and automated test experience using industry leading tools- Hands on experience in any object oriented programming such as Java, .Net, Python, etc- Hands on experience with Agile, DevOps Software Development methodologies.- Experience on QE testing, system design and analysis QE methodologies, procedures, and documentation.- Hands-on experience in developing QE plans and test cases.- Hands-on experience with SaaS cloud applications (ref:hirist.tech)
