Summary : We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Go Engineer to join our growing team.- You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our high-performance backend systems using Go.- This role requires a strong understanding of Go principles, experience with microservices architecture, and a passion for building scalable and reliable software solutions.Responsibilities : Backend Development : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Go, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to company engineering guidelines.- Optimize code for efficiency and address performance bottlenecks to guarantee responsive services.- Design and implement robust and maintainable APIs for seamless internal and external integrations.Microservices Architecture : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement microservices to support our SaaS platform's growth and scalability.- Champion the adoption of microservices principles for efficient and manageable system design.Technical Collaboration : - Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to understand requirements, translate them into effective technical solutions, and deliver high-quality features.- Conduct thorough code reviews, fostering a culture of high-quality coding practices within the team.- Offer mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting their growth and development.- Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.Technical Expertise : - Possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer with a strong focus on Go (Golang) development.- Demonstrate a solid understanding of API design principles and RESTful services.- Be proficient in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.Have familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS or similar environments.Communication and Skills : Hold a Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.- Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.- Maintain and create technical documentation for systems, APIs, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and ongoing maintainability.
