Description:
Responsibilities :- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.- Technical Leadership: Lead design and code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.- Technical Leadership: Drive technical innovation and contribute to the development of coding standards.- Architecture and Design: Play a key role in architectural decisions and design discussions.- Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and maintainable software systems.- Architecture and Design: Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to meet project requirements.- Code Development: Write complex, maintainable code and contribute to the development of critical system components.- Code Development: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the codebase.- Code Development: Collaborate with other engineers on coding, testing, and debugging efforts.- Project Management: Contribute to project planning, estimation, and prioritization of tasks.- Project Management: Guide execution of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.- Project Management: Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, UX/UI, and research to understand business requirements.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into larger systems.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate exceptionally with team members and stakeholders in English across all roles and geographies.- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements.- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve development practices, tools, and methodologies.- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure thorough testing of software components.- Quality Assurance: Implement and advocate for automated testing practices to improve overall product quality.- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, design, and architecture.- Documentation: Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to team members.- Problem Solving: Analyze complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.- Problem Solving: Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide timely resolutions.- Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.- Training and Development: Stay informed about new technologies and share knowledge with the team.Requirements :- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related computing field is required.- Education: A Master's degree in a related computing field is preferred.- Experience: 10+ years in software development with at least 5 years as an architect.- Proven experience in the technology product industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of product development and innovation.Technical Proficiency :- Experience in developing and delivering modern SaaS products.- Strong understanding of cloud-native scalable systems, particularly on public clouds such as AWS.- Proficiency in modern DevOps principles, embracing the ethos of "you build it, you run it."- Demonstrated expertise with the Python programming language and common libraries used in data manipulation and web application development.- Additional experience with compiled languages like (Go, Rust, C/C++, and Java).- Demonstrated expertise in multiple common architectural components like caching, operational data backends, and distributed application orchestration.- Strong experience in auth/auth architectures and technologies: LDAP, SASL/SAML, OAuth, jwt.- Good understanding of common cloud-native design patterns utilizing Kubernetes toolchains.- Functional experience across the entire development application lifecycle.
