Description:
Position : SQL Production Support - L2Experience : 4+ yearsLocation : Bangalore (Hybrid)Shift : 6 AM onwardsMust-have skills :- Strong proficiency in SQL/PL SQL with a self-rating of more than 3 out of 5- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts.- Understanding of CDC (Change Data Capture) and Data Warehousing concepts.- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.Roles & Responsibilities :- Provide Level 2 production support for SQL-related issues and incidents.- Troubleshoot SQL/PL SQL queries and procedures to identify and resolve performance or functional issues.- Collaborate with development teams to implement solutions and enhancements.- Monitor ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and timely execution.- Implement and maintain CDC mechanisms to capture and propagate changes in data.- Utilize Data Warehousing concepts to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis.- Work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to deploy and manage SQL databases and related services.- Administer Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and automation tasks.- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours as needed.- Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.This role requires a proactive individual with strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL, CDC, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and Unix/Linux environments. The candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and able to handle production issues effectively during early morning shifts. (ref:hirist.tech)
