Summary :We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled System Analyst to join our IT team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our user base by providing desktop support, managing network infrastructure, and troubleshooting technical issues. This role requires a strong foundation in computer technology, experience with various IT tools, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.Responsibilities :User Support :- Provide first-line technical support to staff, addressing desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.- Set up and install computers for new hires and departing employees.- Assist remote workers with technical challenges, troubleshoot VPN connectivity and remote access issues.Network Administration :- Possess experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP to manage user accounts, network resources, and domain services.- Experience in imaging and deploying laptops to ensure consistent configurations across the organization.- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems in both local (LAN) and wide area (WAN) network environments.Security & Maintenance :- Manage and maintain BitLocker encryption on user devices for data security.- Deploy and maintain antivirus software to protect against security threats.- Remove malware and spyware from infected devices.Technical Skills :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Technology or Associate's degree in Computer Applications- Computer Technology with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.- Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory).- Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and troubleshooting techniques.- Experience with imaging and deployment tools.- Familiarity with VPN technology and remote access solutions.Additional Skills (Preferred) :- Working knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere for virtualization management.- Working knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls for network security management.- Working knowledge of Mitel Telephony Systems for voice support.Qualities :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
