Description:

Summary : We are seeking a skilled and motivated SCEM Support Engineer to join our IT team.- You will play a crucial role in supporting our System Center Environment and Monitoring (SCEM) infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and timely resolution of issues.- This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft System Center products and related technologies, along with experience in server administration and networking.Responsibilities : SCEM Expertise : - Provide comprehensive support for System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2016 and later versions, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization. (Experience with similar monitoring products is a plus).- Manage System Center Service Manager (SCSM) 2016 and later versions, handling service requests, incident management, and change control processes. (Experience with similar ticketing products is a plus).- Utilize System Center Orchestrator (SCOM) 2016 and later versions to automate routine tasks and workflows. (Experience with similar automation tools is a plus).- Manage System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2016 and later versions for virtual machine provisioning, monitoring, and optimization. (Experience with similar virtual machine management tools is a plus).- Possess in-depth knowledge of Management Pack technology, overrides, rules, and monitor creation for effective system monitoring.Database Administration : - Experience with SQL Server administration and configuration, including basic knowledge of T-SQL syntax, WMI functionality, and query writing.Server Administration and Networking : - Possess strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems for server management and troubleshooting.- Understand Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols, and core networking concepts.- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services is a plus.Qualifications : - Strong understanding of System Center products, including SCOM, SCSM, Orchestrator, and Virtual Machine Manager (experience with prior versions acceptable).- Experience with SQL Server administration and basic T-SQL scripting.- Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- ITIL v4 Foundation certification or similar methodology experience is a plus.
