Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in Django and proficiency in SQL to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience developing web applications using Python, particularly with the Django framework, and a strong background in working with relational databases. This role will involve leading projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Responsibilities :- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using Python and Django framework.- Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical solutions.- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Architect scalable and efficient solutions, considering performance, security, and maintainability.- Implement advanced features and functionality, leveraging Django's capabilities and extending the framework when necessary.- Optimize database queries, schema design, and data access patterns for performance and reliability.- Coordinate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of server-side logic with user interfaces.- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions in a timely manner.- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web development, and advocate for their adoption within the team.- Champion code quality, consistency, and standards adherence through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.- Contribute to architectural discussions, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives within the team and across the organization.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.- Minimum of three years of professional experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on web application development.- Expertise in Python programming language and deep understanding of Django framework concepts and conventions.- Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.- Strong understanding of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile software development methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers in a collaborative team environment.- Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.- Understanding of DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.- Active participation in open-source projects, community forums, or developer meetups.- Certifications related to Python, Django, or web development.
