Unix/Linux experience- Monitor and respond to SQL-related incidents and alerts in the production environment.- Investigate and troubleshoot SQL queries, performance issues, and database errors.- Collaborate with L1 support teams to escalate and resolve complex SQL issues in a timely manner.- Analyze SQL scripts and stored procedures for optimization and efficiency.- Implement and maintain SQL best practices to ensure system stability and performance.- Document solutions, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - years of experience in SQL development and production support roles.- Strong proficiency in SQL query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational database management systems.- Solid understanding of database concepts, such as indexing, normalization, and transaction management.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure SQL Database Administrator Associate) a plus.
