Position Overview :We are seeking an experienced ETL Specialist to join our team. The ETL Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS, Talend, and SQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL tools, database management, and data pipeline management.Key Responsibilities :- ETL Development: Develop ETL packages using SSIS for 75% of the ETL work and Talend for the remaining 25%.- Create mappings using Talend for efficient data integration and transformation.- SQL Procedures: Develop SQL procedures to support ETL processes and data management tasks.- Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to ETL processes, including connectivity problems, system errors, and data discrepancies.- Data Pipeline Management: Implement and manage data pipelines using tools like Rundeck, TWS, Airflow, etc, ensuring smooth data flow and efficient processing.- API Integration: Work on integrating APIs for seamless data connectivity across different systems and platforms.- Big Data Tools: Utilize big data tools such as Kafka and Kubernetes for efficient data processing and management.- Database Management: Work with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MSSQL and Postgres, for data storage and retrieval.- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.- Reporting: Create reports and provide analytics on ETL processes' usage, performance, and efficiency.- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in ETL processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Required Skills :- Strong experience with ETL tools: SSIS and Talend- Proficiency in SQL for database management and procedures- Experience with big data tools such as Kafka and Kubernetes- Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools like Rundeck, TWS, Airflow, etc.- Familiarity with API integration- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MSSQL and PostgresPreferred Skills :- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)- Knowledge of database design and administration- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities (ref:hirist.tech)
