Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex backend functionalities for our clients' e-commerce storefronts. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the platform and backend development principles to deliver scalable and reliable solutions that enhance our clients' online businesses.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement backend features and functionalities using Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs, Scripting, and custom integrations.- Leverage core Java principles, object-oriented programming concepts, and design patterns to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.- Integrate with various third-party systems and services (payment gateways, CRM, ERP, etc.) using Link cartridges, OCAPI, or custom development.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to backend functionality and integrations.- Optimize and maintain existing backend code for performance and scalability.- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers on the team.- Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and related technologies.Qualifications :- Proven experience in developing and implementing e-commerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform (SFCC/Demandware).- Strong expertise in core Java principles, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns.- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture, scripting languages (SFCC Script, APEX preferred), and APIs.- Experience integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with external systems using Link cartridges, OCAPI, or custom development.- Experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks (a plus).- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- A passion for e-commerce and a desire to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences.
