Description:

Responsibilities :Use the ticketing system to create, update, and resolve tickets.Troubleshoot network, server, and storage issues.Installation and maintenance of network, server, and storage equipment.Maintain detailed data center documentation.Strict adherence to RingCentral change management policies and proceduresInteract with onsite and remote vendors for hardware replacement, delivery, and diagnostics.Onsite off-peak hours maintenance will be required.Participate in on-call rotation.Some travel is required.Requirements :5+ years of experience working in a production data center environment.Ability to rack, build, cable network, server, and storage equipment.Familiar with network cabling standards and transceivers.Basic knowledge of server hardware components.Familiar with power budget calculations and power balancing.Understand data center design in regard to airflow (hot and cold aisle containment).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience with data center logistics, asset management, and DCIM tools.Hands-on experience with one or more of the following hardware platforms is an asset (Dell, Cisco, HP, NetApp, Juniper).
