Overview : The AWS DevOps role plays a critical part in our organization, as it involves ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our cloud-based infrastructure. This position is essential for maintaining seamless delivery and deployment processes for our applications and services, ultimately supporting our overall business objectives.Key Responsibilities :- Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure architectures.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.- Write scripts for automation of manual tasks.- Manage and monitor infrastructure utilizing AWS services.- Implement and manage containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.- Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure smooth operations.- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.- Implement and manage security and compliance measures.- Conduct performance tuning and optimization.- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.- Stay updated with new AWS features and best practices.- Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are in place.- Document infrastructure and processes. Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.- Strong understanding of AWS services and best practices.- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus.- Knowledge of networking and security concepts in AWS.- Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Relevant AWS certifications (e. g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.- Understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Exp : 4 to 8 years (ref:hirist.tech)
