What you will do: - Collaborate closely with business, product, and engineering teams to translate goals into clear and actionable engineering roadmaps. - Lead the charge on defining and executing strategic engineering plans for your assigned areas, ensuring efficient project delivery. - Champion a culture of excellence by establishing and maintaining robust production systems, encompassing both technical infrastructure and operational processes. - Take ownership of your team's projects, fostering the technical health and success of our financial products. - Build a best-in-class engineering team through strategic recruitment, mentorship, and professional development programs. Technical Proficiency:- Extensive experience with web application frameworks like JAVA Spring, Spring boot.- Proficiency in programming languages including Kotlin, Java, PHP.- In-depth knowledge of datastores like Maria DB, Oracle.- Familiarity with communication protocols like HTTP, Kafka, Amazon SQS, or Amazon SNS.- Mastery in server management tools like Amazon ECS and Docker. Leadership and Management:- Proven ability to manage and inspire a team of technical professionals.- Strong project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within scope.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.- Understanding of basic programming principles like SOLID and TDD. Qualifications:- 9+ years of software engineering experience, with a significant portion leading technical teams.- A successful track record of team management, project execution, and stakeholder engagement.- Proven experience in designing and developing complex solutions, including large-scale distributed systems.- A history of building and managing high-performing software development teams.- Experience driving design and architecture decisions with senior team members.- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise presentations of technical information.- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment (a plus).
