Mandatory Skills: Linux, CloudFormation, Infrastructure as Code (using CDK , ARM, Terraform), AWS Services (including EC2, ELB, ASG, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, ECS, and EKS), DHCP, DNS, NGINX, HA-Proxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, DB technologies (such as Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc), Elasticsearch/Kibana (ELK), CI/CD tools (such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Codebuild, Codedeploy and Codepipeline), Programming language (such as Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go, JavaScript, TypeScrit etc), GIT, KafkaOptional Skills: GCP DevOps, GCP Cloud Platform, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud PlatformThe DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining the private and public clouds. Successful candidate requires experience in systems engineering and cloud automation, be a critical thinker, a scripter with strong coding skills that will be used to automate repeatable tasks. Additionally, the candidate must be highly organized with strong communication skills and a mindset for continuous improvement.Responsibilities:1. Responsible for the design, creation, configuration, and delivery of cloud infrastructure environments using automation best practices and a proactive strategy.2. Work with the product development team in deploying scalable micro-services to multiple cloud providers using Kubernetes3. Responsible for automating the infrastructure build in private cloud and public cloud environments.4. Automate business continuity/disaster recovery.5. Optimize Infrastructure code for maximum scalability and stability.6. Research emerging technologies and keep up to date on industry best practices.7. Design and engineer the DevOps CICD tooling and platform roadmap and own the lifecycle of these platforms.8. Assist development team with deployment strategy and capacity planning across development, QA, staging and production environments.9. Build a strong relationship with the development teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs.10. Strengthen and maintain the monitoring and management of the build and deployment processes and infrastructure.11. Experience building cloud-based infrastructure solutions in AWS with a strong governance model knowledge.12. Strong understanding and experience operating in an agile development environment.13. Seamlessly integrate DevOps with infrastructure and automation orchestration platforms through established architectural patterns (e.g. APIs)Must Have Skills:1. BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.2. 5 + years of Linux administration experience and Kubernetes cluster management experience3. Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK , ARM and Terraform4. Experience with core AWS Services including EC2, ELB, ASG, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, ECS, and EKS5. Skilled in developing containerized services with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes6. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Debian) and its fundamentals.7. Strong knowledge of and practical experience with DHCP, DNS, NGINX, HA-Proxy8. Experience with managing cloud environments like AWS, GCP, Azure or similar9. Experience with source code management using git10. Good understanding of DB technologies such as Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.11. Experience in logging monitoring tracing with Elasticsearch/Kibana (ELK)12. Ability to define scalable CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Codebuild, Codedeploy and Codepipeline13. Basic knowledge of Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript etc14. Understanding of strategies for providing high availability and security.15. Experience configuring up Kafka consumers and producers16. Expertise with cloud monitoring and management systems including but not limited to Prometheus, Loki,, Logstash, Kibana and Grafana.17.
