Description:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering & Analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining, and improving our reporting products and data pipelines.Responsibilities :- Design and develop high-impact, user-facing features for our reporting products, leveraging your understanding of web stack UI frameworks to enhance user experience.- Maintain and improve existing reporting pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data delivery.- Actively contribute to the development and shipping of new features and updates for our data-driven products.- Utilize industry-standard data engineering technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Spark, Kafka, AWS or Azure cloud services) to deliver clean and reliable data for reporting purposes.- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to drive the successful implementation and release of major features.- Advocate for best practices in code development, ensuring well-tested, well-documented, and maintainable code.Ideal Candidate :- 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a product company, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact software solutions.- Strong development experience in JavaScript or TypeScript (2+ years).- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) with 2+ years of experience.- Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) for data storage and retrieval (2+ years).- Hands-on experience setting up data pipelines using tools such as Debezium, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, and AWS Glue.- A plus: Experience setting up Kafka Connect and scaling data transformers.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches.- Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).- Experience building enterprise software applications (a plus).
