Description:
Job Description :- Lead and execute Hitachi NAS migration projects, including planning, execution, and validation of data migration activities.- Utilize expertise in migration tools such as RoboCopy, SecureCopy, and EMCopy to transfer data between Hitachi NAS systems and other storage platforms.- Collaborate with clients to assess their NAS environment, gather requirements, and develop migration strategies aligned with their business goals.- Configure and optimize Hitachi NAS systems and migration tools to ensure efficient and secure data transfer with minimal disruption to business operations.- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders throughout the migration process, addressing any technical issues or challenges that arise.- Document migration procedures, methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.Required Skills :- Minimum 7 years of experience in Hitachi NAS migration and related technologies.- Proficiency in migration tools such as RoboCopy, SecureCopy, and EMCopy.- Familiarity with Hitachi NAS storage systems and their configuration, administration, and management.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex NAS and migration issues.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.- Proven track record of successfully delivering Hitachi NAS migration projects on time and within budget.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with other NAS platforms such as NetApp, EMC Isilon, or IBM Spectrum Scale.- Hitachi certification(s) in storage administration or migration.Education and Experience :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Hitachi NAS migration and storage administration.
